Please...

...please please don't turn the consumerism craze loose on my beautiful Solstice.

 "The secularists would maybe make their own thing: Winter Solstice or something along these lines."

 It's not "their own thing." It would be yet another instance of someone else's thing being used to put money in corporate pockets.
