Julie Orringer

Julie Orringer is the author of the short story collection How to Breathe Underwater, and is currently at work on a novel set in Paris and Budapest in the 1930’s and 40’s.  She is the Helen Herzog Zell Visiting Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Michigan.
