Irina Reyn

Irina Reyn is the editor of Living on the Edge of the World: New Jersey Writers Take on the Garden State (Touchstone/Simon & Schuster). Her first novel What Happened to Anna K. will be published by Touchstone in August 2008. Irina's work has appeared in some of the following publications: One Story, Post Road, Tin House, The Forward, Nextbook, Ballyhoo Stories, San Francisco Chronicle, The Moscow Times. She reviews mainly literary fiction and nonfiction, with a specialization in Russian and European literature. Please see a sample of her work on the Book Criticism and Writings pages. Her personal essays can be found in anthologies, including Not Like I'm Jealous or Anything: The Jealousy Book (Delacorte) and Becoming American: Personal Essays by First Generation Immigrant Women (Hyperion). Irina was born in Moscow, and currently divides her time between Pittsburgh and Brooklyn, NY. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the English Department at the University of Pittsburgh.
