Gila Lyons

Gila Lyons is an MFA candidate in Literary Nonfiction at Columbia University. She has published essays, short stories, poems, and articles in a number of literary journals, newspapers, and magazines, including The Berkshire Review, Talking Leaves, and Mi’mamakim. She is also a staff writer for Go Ask Alice, Columbia University’s health and sexuality question and answer website. Gila has helped to edit two books, and has taught creative writing in schools, extra-curricular programs, and retreats. She has also facilitated writing workshops aimed at using writing as a therapeutic tool.
