- Some Israeli soldiers are now saying that rabbis pushed for a "religious war" in Gaza.
- Fifteen U.S. sailors were mildly injured after two U.S. Naval vessels collided near Iran. A submarine is reported to have collided with an amphibious ship in the Straight of Hormuz.
- Eight people have been injured after a man opened fire with an air gun outside of a French nursery school.
- In a furthered effort to go green, Michelle Obama is creating an organic vegetable garden outside the White House. Ground is expected to be broken today and local school students are expected to help with the process.
