The Big Jewcy: Stephen Witt, Writer/Publisher
By Emma Rothschild / June 8, 2010While people are trying anything they can to save the publishing industry, Stephen Witt found inspiration for publishing and marketing his first novel, American Moses, by looking at the simple way urban literature is packaged and sold. It isn’t rethinking the wheel, it’s being practical in a chaotic time.
One could only guess that he’d name his indie publishing company, Never Sink Books; in a time when the publishing industry is staying afloat, Mr. Witt is an unsinkable optimist in a turbulent time.
