Dead Meadow

I've been ridiculously passionate about art and music for as long as I can remember. In creating posters for bands, I'm allowed the vehicle to focus two of my greatest loves into one concise design; making a visual interpretation of something auditory. Some posters take longer than others to conceptualize and my process varies, but I make it a point/obsession to listen to the music of the band(s) while I'm creating their poster. Of course, I only do posters for bands I truly enjoy—it would be too academic to do otherwise. The greatest reward is being able to meet the bands and get their feedback...and occasionally attend an after-party.

Kinda on the Dark Side

The band names you choose to do seem to be kind of dark. DEAD meadow. BLACK angels. BLACK keys. BLACK heart procession.

Is that by choice, or just an accident?

Black Sabbath, Brightblack Morning Light, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Black Mountain, Black Keys, Black Heart Procession...all of these bands are awesome
