Parasha Rachinsky is a freelance illustrator from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; from the prairie loins, Parasha's line drawings directly translate the rather hearty and sometimes low-down feel of the area's breadth while maintaining a rather amusing and droll impression. The humour is a necessity in a place where the winter lasts near to 8 months of the year. Her interest is primarily on character form.
Parasha has an incomprehensible love for clothing and aesthetics and was raised on drawing by her father who also practises.
Her work has so far been featured in both local and Canadian-wide publications.
